mrpark 60 th !!! This is the first year I don't get to say 'happy birthday mrpark' to Mr Park... but that's all right, because we made sure to celebrate his birthday in the most awesomest way he would love! Technically Mr Park's birthday is on the 5th April (1966)!! but this year's April 5 (Sunday) lands on Chin-ming day (the pray to all your ancestors for good luck day), and so we scheduled for the day before, because everyone knows a pre-birthday party is a banger and a post birthday party is a bummer! The day was simple and me and Pauline and Jess started it with a catchup session at Haew-Seafood (Pauline's new favourite seafood place I'm imaginging from the sounds of it,) on Puttamontol Sai2 Road. (though Mr P wasn't the best fan of seafood so we... shh! don't tell him, heheh) ... I had just got back from a few weeks in Astralia so we were desperate in need for the gossiping session :) Anyway after lunch we decided that we would find somewhere 'by the river' to ceelebrate Mr Park's birthday with him, and so we headed off to Tsongvard road via Chinatown and eventually we parked at the elephant parking lot (which is supposed to be famous for street art or something??? not sure.)
We went to the 7 eleven down the corner road and bought the ingredients for his favourite cocktail -- estCola and Sangsom rum (though they didn't have any estCola -- how dare they! haha! -- so we substituted with pepsiCola) and we poured one out for him, on his birthday!! (anecdote but, I was telling Pauline 'oh man, these 7eleven cashier must be wondering why this woman is getting high-vol-Rum drunk at 3.30 pm!!')
